Staff are friendly, location is great. A pool and by the beach?? Bonus. Not an absolute amazing kinda place but deffo better than the 3.8 rating it has at the moment, so gets my vote. Good value. Restaurant... Exists. It's fine.
As someone who came to Dakar to dive and see the city, this was a great location. I didn’t want to be right in the city, but it’s easy to get a taxi downtown. The hotel is modest. Rooms are fine and comfortable beds. It was not as noisy as I expected from other reviews. I enjoyed the diving and pool. The best part was meeting Sada, a guy who worked at the hotel. His English was good enough to help me get around. She gave me tips for things to do and showed me around the Ngor area. As a non French speaker, I wouldn’t have known what to do without him. If you come here, please reach out to him. He is the most helpful person in Dakar. One other note, avoid the restaurant. It’s not tasty. The breakfast is just bread and croissant. I had one other meal here and it came out partially frozen and the chicken was chewy. There are so many nice places to eat in ngor and the surrounding areas. Don’t waste a meal in the hotel.
